Naya opens cold and resinous, juniper and black pepper sharp against a curl of incense, with oud lending depth from the very first breath. There is nothing sweet here. This is shadow and smoke, composed rather than comforting.
The heart turns woody and bitter in the best way: cedarwood, birch and wormwood, dry and brooding, the part that keeps Naya from ever feeling soft. Then the base settles deep and stays, fir balsam, labdanum and amber, resinous and warm beneath the smoke. Still. Dark. The kind of scent that pulls you closer rather than calling out.

THE FRAGRANCE
Naya Extrait de Parfum is dark. Not in a dramatic way. In the way of deep water at midday, still on top, cold and moving underneath. The master perfumers of Atelier des Sens built this around the
Naiad, the water spirit of ancient Greece whose beauty pulled
people under and kept them there. NAYA does not announce itself. It does not flatter or charm. It waits. And then, slowly, it takes hold. Three hundred and thirty bottles made. Each one signed by hand. Each one numbered. Once they are gone, they are gone.

INSPIRATION
Before rivers had names the Naiads were already there. Presiding over springs, fountains, streams. Worshipped because people understood, even then, that some things give life and take it in the same gesture. Those who drank from their waters left something behind. A lock of hair. A piece of themselves they never got back. NAYA opens with juniper and black pepper, sharp and cold, like the first breath of air over a forest spring. Incense and oud move in underneath, resinous and deep. Cedarwood, birch and wormwood form the heart, a forest darkness that has no bottom. Then fir
balsam and labdanum in the base, ancient and earthy, the smell of moss and stone and water that has been flowing since long before any of this. Three hundred and thirty bottles. Each one signed. Each one numbered. Still on the surface. Boundless underneath.
