I bought a sample because I couldn't imagine what melon, cherry and chocolate would smell like together. I'm glad I did. It's genuinely different from anything else in my collection.
This is such an unusual combination. Melon and chocolate shouldn't work together in my head, but somehow they do. The opening is fresh and juicy and the dry down becomes warm and creamy.
Definitely worth trying if you're bored of the usual citrus summer perfumes. Spiros is fruity but has enough depth underneath to make it interesting.

This is the easiest Atelier des Sens fragrance I've tried to wear casually. It still has plenty of presence but doesn't feel as dark or serious as some of the others.
Wanted to love it more than I do. Cinnamon ties the whole thing together without going Christmas-market on you, and vanilla here is creamy rather than sweet. Compliments have been consistent, mostly from other men surprisingly. Saved this for dinners out and it hasn't disappointed. Beautiful but not my style.
I was worried about the chocolate note because I don't want to smell like actual chocolate. Thankfully it isn't like that. It gives the middle of the fragrance richness without turning the whole thing into a dessert.
On my skin the cherry is much quieter than the melon. After an hour it's mostly creamy vanilla, musk and tonka with a little fruit hanging around. Very smooth.

Vanilla is there but it's not the boozy pastry kind, more like milk. Opens loud, settles into something intimate and beautiful. Wore it to a gallery opening and felt perfectly at home.
